1. What is coaching?
Coaching is partnering with
clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them
to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help
clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional
lives. Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the
quality of their lives
2. What are the benefits of hiring a coach?
The most common benefits my
clients report are focus, support, accountability, resources,
listening, and a different perspective.
3. What credentials should I look for in a coach?
The most imortant credential is a rapport with the coach. Look for a coach that is trained by an ICF accredited school, has ICF
certification, and has client testimonials you can relate to. I graduated from ICA. I hold an ACC credential with ICF.
4. What the difference between coaching, therapy, training, and counsulting?
Coaching = subject matter expertise not necessary, works toward results in the future
Therapy = possible need for medication, usually looks to resolve issues
from the past
Training = subject matter expertise
necessary, teaches skills, processes, or both
Consulting = subject matter expertise necessary, paying for advice, experience and best practices
5. What happens in a typical coaching session?
G = Goal setting: what does the
client want to achieve?
A = Action: what steps need to be
taken?
P = Praise: what needs to be celebrated or acknowledged?
6. How much does coaching cost, and what do I get for my money?
I offer 3 packages:
- two 45-minute phone conversations/month for $150
- four 45-minute
phone conversations/month for $250
each with up to 10 email or voicemail
questions/month
- ten 45-minute phone conversations (scheduled based on the client's needs) used over the course of 1 year for $500
Special Project
coaching is an option. Cost and frequency would be decided by coach and
client.
In-person coaching is also available for local clients. Coaching
and training that improves your work performance is tax deductible.
7. How will I know it’s working, and what guarantee do I have if I feel coaching isn’t working?
Most clients experience results
in the free trial-session. All develup services are guaranteed to satisfy, or your money back.
8. Who decides the schedule of the coaching?
All policies and processes are mutually agreed upon by client and coach. Win/win agreement
9.What type of person hires a coach?
Anyone looking to ahieve
results. My best clients are leaders who are also perfectionists,
stress junkies, procrastinators, or novice presenters.
