"Anyone can be satisfied with your business or product. That doesn't mean they will rave about you and refer friends and family to you. Does your business simply process customers with a "next" mindset? Or, do you make each customer experience memorable?"

These businesses consistently have me raving:

WestPress
I'm raving about WestPress printers in Tucson because they have a culture where customers are priority 1. Besides bringing treats, our account representative, Ann Koellner has an amazing ability to listen and provide insight when we are stuck. She has never been overbearing with her opinion. Instead, she has helpful suggestions when we experience indecision.

Centennial Inn
I'm raving about the Centennial Inn (Concord, NH) because they combine all the grace you'd expect from a centuries old historic landmark with all the modern amenities you need. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you'll love the heavenly beds, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. You can't help but to relax in this rejuvenating environment--you may not want to leave.

Hutter Chiropractic
I'm raving about the Hutter Chiropractic team in Mystic, CT because they're commited to your well-being. Before treatment begins, patients watch a video that explains the adjustment process. This helps set expectations, as well as eliminate fear. After each adjustment, you'll get muscle therapy. This promotes healing even more. Assistants provide instruction on stretching and other exercises that you can do at home. If you need a chiropractor, tell them develup is a raving fan.

Naturally Nails
I'm raving about Naturally Nails in East Greenwich, RI because their manicures last twice as long as most nail salons. Even though they are super-busy, you'll never feel rushed or processed. The employees talk to customers instead of talking to each other in foreign languages. Oh, and the water for soaking your cuticles is actually warm. If you need a manicure/pedicure, tell them develup is a raving fan.

IAMTEEJAY
I'm raving about Iamteejay because he won't let you put something awful on your website without telling you it's awful. This experience was so much better than many I've had with creative types who either know it all and don't listen to you, or who can't offer any creativity because they don't want to make changes. Teejay is the perfect blend of listening and suggesting. He'll give you what you want plus what you didn't know you need. If you need a website, tell him Develup is a raving fan.

Inn at Castle Hill
I'm raving about the Inn at Castle Hill in Ipswich, MA. Breakfast isn't the only treat you'll get at this bed & breakfast. When you check in you'll be served hot tea, homemade blueberry bread, and fresh apple slices. Whatever you need, from reservation suggestions to peace & quiet, the inn-keeper will offer to help.

Quackin' Grass
I'm raving about Quackin' Grass Nursery in Brooklyn, CT because Wayne (the owner) is both helpful and humorous. You will find a nice selection of unique plants: plants that will start conversations. Because he's honest, he'll tell you if a certain plant isn't right for your situation. His sense of humor makes doing business with him a pleasure.

Illiano's Pizza and Ristorante

I'm raving about Illiano's Pizza and Ristorante because they excell at the 3 most important areas for a restaurant:

Food--you'll be hard pressed to find better pizza and Italian food in the Connecticut area. The owners are Italian.

Service--you can't beat the fast service on take-out pizza, or sit down for an enjoyable meal.

Atmosphere--you'll be greeted with a sample slice of cheese pizza when you come in to order. If you're a regular, they'll most likely remember your name. And 90% of the customers, including me, were greeted with a compliment too.

Swade Babershop
I'm raving about Swade Barbershop in Tucson, AZ because the owner understands that some traditions are worth saving. His motto for the shop is "this ain't your granddaddy's barbershop, but it could be."
The whole place has a cowboy and western theme with classic country music on the jukebox. The services are diverse, from traditional cuts to modern fades. All cuts come with a massage.  You can even get yourself or your friends some soap or tonic in the apothecary.

Mark Fisher from Mesa Airlines (United Express Airlines)
I'm raving about Mark because he understands that customers want to feel taken care of. Mark makes sure that all the passengers have what they need, even if it's from his inventory. He offered me a variety of tea flavors as well as Splenda (instead of the pink packets). He brings all of this on board himself because he knows that the airline's offerings are limited. That is truly going above and beyond.
